Bigger and Better facilities for local Hospice

We were very proud to be part of the opening of the new extension at the Hospice of the Good Shepherd last month.  Our significant £75,000 grant went towards their capital build project that has seen the hospice grow in size, enabling 150% increase for their day patient capacity.

The new facilities include a Living Well Centre where support is given to patients and their families and carers, following a diagnosis. The Centre now has a multi faith room, spacious day room, 4 new single ensuite bedrooms and private treatment rooms where complementary therapy and physiotherapy is offered.  The Hospice also now has a welcoming reception area, new coffee shop and staff offices.

This project enables the Hospice to expand on the invaluable support they give to patients with progressive conditions, their families and carers from Chester, Deeside and Cheshire.
